RIP Glynn and Chris Landry

On May 2nd Glynn Landry was in a car accident caused by his car hydroplaining on a dangerous curve on a highway in Louisiana. His car slid sideways and was hit broad side by a pickup truck going the other way. Glynn was pronounced dead at the scene the night of May 2nd. He also had his son Chris, age 14, riding with him. Chris was on life support for two days, but had passed away on the 4th of May. Chris had never awoken from the accident. Glynn leaves a wife, Krystal and a son Nick, who is 12 years old. The funeral is on May 8th and there is more information here.

I met Glynn at the 2005 Nationals in Georgia. The first day we became instant friends. The guy was a great kneeboarder, noone in the world could touch his invert fronts with a ten foot pole. Even more amazing was that he was an even better person. We went to a few events together. He was always very happy and stoked on kneeboarding. We talked about making a kneeboard film and when he was getting married he even invited me to his wedding. We miss you bro, but I have no doubts that you're in a better place where the water is always smooth. Rest in Peace
