Trick Tip- Over Line 360

Time to get back to basics and most of you can do regular 360 and some of you may not be able to do one so here is one that you all can do and it is also easy for you to teach your friends once you can do it. It is an easy one, but can be a little tricky to learn at first. I think most of you will get it on your first or second attempt.

With this trick I find it easiest if you have your arms out as straight as you can get them and bend forward at the waist a little for a start. Now we are going to want to pull as hard on the rope as we can and bring the handle to your hip and sit up straight all in one smooth motion. This will create slack rope which you need so you can cross over the rope.

Now that you have your slack rope you want to release one hand and place the hand with the rope out to the side and in the water this will start your rotation. At this time, you should also be looking at the handle and trying to get the nose of the board to cross over the rope.

Once you have started to turn and have started to cross over the rope remember to look in the direction that you are spinning. I found that with this trick, you have a lot of time to do it and you don't need to rush it.

By now you will be facing backwards and the kneeboard will have passed over the rope. All you need now is keep round till you see the boat and grab on to the handle with both hands.

I found that as I go 3/4 of the way around that the rope was starting to tighten up again and pulled me around straight again.

Now that your facing straight again, and ready to do your next trick, why not try spinning the other way now. All you have to do is repeat the process but spin the other way.

Tips: If you find that you are struggling to get over the rope in time you may need to do one of two things, one pull on the rope a little harder to allow yourself enough time to get over the rope and spin around or two dig the handle into the water deeper and harder start your spin.

Good luck with this one and remember if you struggling to get this trick or any other you can email me at Kneeboardvic@hotmail.com and I'll do my best to help you out.
